Introducing a new way to keep fruit fresh much longer.
Meet the fruitbridge.

What is a fruitbridge?
This beautiful stainless steel stand is the opposite of a traditional fruit bowl. (Also, a lovely wedding gift, or a unique birthday present, in case you've been looking.)

How does it work?
A fruitbridge holds fruit up and away from each other.
Air can circulate through freely, so there is no trapping of ethylene gas (as in a bowl), which could quickly speed up the ripening/spoiling process.
There is no crowding, no pushing, no injuring.

Why does it all matter?
43% of all food produced in America is wasted in our homes. A 2020 study found that the average American household wastes 31.9% of the food it acquires. Among food groups, fruits and vegetables account for the most significant loss and waste.
Unfortunately, disposed food in landfills emits methane, a greenhouse gas
more potent than the carbon dioxide emitted by most vehicles.

Landfills are the third-largest industrial emitter of methane. (earth.org)
